Far Holland, founded by Adriana Kielder and Reiko Nakamura, is a company dedicated to making fine kitchen products.  We also have our own clothing line for the kitchen, designed and created by Adriana and Reiko.  All the products of Far Holland are made from unique kimono and yukata fabric as well as sustainably grown linen and cotton.

Adriana and Reiko met each other in New York in 2010.  Soon after meeting, they set up a studio in Alphabet City where all products are created.  Reiko and Adriana both studied in the Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, and coincidentally lived on the same street in Amsterdam, twenty years apart.

Reiko teaches Japanese home cooking (www.tokyotwilight.com) and some ideas of the products have come from her kitchen!
